In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients within our behavioral health unit. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will support patients through their treatment and recovery journeys in a safe and supportive environment. This position offers a set annual salary of $47,732, with an estimated hourly wage range between $32.14 and $48.20 based on experience and qualifications.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Assessing patient physical and psychological needs and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
- Monitoring patient behavior and vital signs, documenting changes accurately in medical records
- Providing a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes patient dignity and healing
- Educating patients and their families regarding treatment plans, coping strategies, and discharge care
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other nursing staff
