Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at our Children’s Homes located in Fairfield, Stockton-On-Tees. This is a full-time position working waking nights on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, offering a competitive salary of £30,849 to £33,896 (assuming good attendance).
Working in our children’s homes means becoming a meaningful part of a young person’s day-to-day life. In this role, you will be there for both the highest highs and the lowest lows, helping to provide stability and care during the night hours. Your work will directly contribute to enabling our young people to reclaim their childhoods and build positive pathways toward becoming well-rounded adults.

Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children and young people throughout the night.
- Monitoring the safety and well-being of residents during waking night shifts.
- Responding appropriately to any incidents, distress, or medical needs in line with company policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and completing necessary nightly administrative tasks.
- Collaborating effectively with the wider care team to ensure consistency and continuity of support for every young person.
- Promoting independence and positive routines as part of the residents’ ongoing care plans.
