NP – Orthopedics

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Orthopedics to join our physician-led organization. As a clinician here, you have a meaningful seat at the table through our Physician Board of Directors, ensuring your voice is heard in patient care and clinical direction.

In this full-time role, you will be supported by modern clinical tools, including Pieces, an AI-powered clinical documentation solution designed for inpatient settings to save you time and let you focus on patient care rather than paperwork. You will be part of a robust multispecialty network connecting over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers across numerous specialties and clinic locations.

Key responsibilities for this orthopedic nursing position typically include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with orthopedic conditions and injuries
• Collaborating closely with supervising physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare team members
• Developing and managing comprehensive patient care and treatment plans
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory work
• Providing patient education regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, and rehabilitation

Position Requirements:

• Must be licensed in the state of Texas or be eligible to obtain Texas state licensure
