Banner University Medical Group in Tucson is seeking a dedicated and qualified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology Division at Banner University Medical Center. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, providing flexible support with a 50% split between inpatient and outpatient services.
In this role, you will work collaboratively alongside our experienced Cardiovascular team. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to a diverse patient population, including individuals within cardiology, cardiac surgery, heart failure, transplant, and general cardiovascular care.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Conducting thorough clinical evaluations and assessments for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients.
- Collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient care plans.
- Managing acute and chronic care needs across the continuum of inpatient units and outpatient clinic settings.
- Participating in pre- and post-procedure patient management, educating patients and their families regarding their care plans and recovery processes.
- Documenting clinical notes accurately and timely within the electronic health record system in accordance with clinical standards.
This position is located in the Continental area of Pima County and offers an annual compensation of $22,133.
