As a Nurse Practitioner (MNA), you will work under the general direction of the Chief of Medicine, assuming full responsibility for rendering professional medical services to a panel of patients in an ambulatory care setting.

In this collaborative team practice, you will promote enhanced continuity, visible teamwork, and trusting relationships with patients and families. You will also act as a mentor and leadership presence to the primary care team, including fellow physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing comprehensive, longitudinal clinical and administrative care coordination for a specific panel of patients.
  • Performing examinations, diagnoses, and treatments in a primary care setting, including physical assessments and care plan supervision.
  • Overseeing the monitoring and management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses, adjusting treatment regimens as needed.
  • Partnering with patients and families to manage ongoing care plans, including coordinating consultations and specialist referrals.
  • Providing consultation regarding hospitalized patients within your panel and offering direction to support departmental effectiveness.

Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Master’s level preferred).
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts board of registration in Nursing.
  • National Board Certification.
  • Current active DEA licensure and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain post-hire).
  • Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration (or ability to obtain post-hire).
  • Maintains BLS certification and professional certification as appropriate.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of APC experience.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $107,723.20 to $193,315.20, consisting of base pay and bonus based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience, with potential increases based on productivity and performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401(k) contributions subject to eligibility requirements.
