Banner Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient neurology practice located in the Rillito and greater Pima County area. In partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join a collaborative clinical team and deliver high-quality subspecialty-focused patient care alongside experienced neurology faculty members.
In this role, you will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients within a specialized neurology setting. The specific clinical focus area will be determined based on department needs and the candidate’s background. Core responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations and physical examinations for neurology patients
- Developing, implementing, and managing individualized patient treatment plans in collaboration with neurology faculty
- Ordering, interpreting, and monitoring appropriate diagnostic tests and laboratory work
- Providing ongoing patient education, counseling, and support regarding neurological conditions and treatment options
- Documenting clinical encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record system
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Candidates must possess the appropriate state licensure and credentials to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. The compensation for this position is structured at $26,255 per year, reflecting the specific scope and parameters of the role.
