Join a collaborative and patient-focused team with Pain Management Associates at CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico. We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This position is being added due to service line growth and to support ongoing community need, allowing you to build your own patient panel and practice independently in the state of New Mexico.

Practice Overview:

Work alongside 2 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, a Clinical Lead, Front Office Coordinators, and a Clinic Supervisor.
Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call responsibilities.
Patient Population: Adults aged 18 and older, focusing on chronic conditions and workplace injuries.
Patient Volume: Expected volume of approximately 25 to 30 patients per day.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Background in Pain Management or a related clinical field.
Familiarity with opioid stewardship and alternative therapy options.
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Efficiency in EMR documentation, strong organizational skills, and adaptability.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage medication therapies, including controlled substances, adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
