Banner Health is expanding its team of Advanced Practice Providers and is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the Nurse Practitioner-Pulmonary Medicine role with Banner University Medical Center Tucson. In this role, you will work alongside a highly trained team of Pulmonologists and Critical Care Intensivists. Your daily responsibilities will naturally align with the expectations of an advanced practice provider in a specialized hospital setting, focusing on comprehensive patient care and clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Diagnosing and treating patients within the pulmonary and critical care specialty.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans based on clinical assessments.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and ongoing health management.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical documentation in accordance with facility policies and standards.
