Optum is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Laborist Physician to join an established, well-respected team of 7 OB/GYNs. As part of The Corvallis Clinic, you will be joining a multi-specialty group with a long history of delivering exceptional care to patients and fulfilling careers to team members across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for 6 24-hour shifts a month for 1.0 FTE, with options to be considered for part-time or per diem schedules. The position features primarily weekdays with a shared holiday rotation, and an average of 1 to 2 deliveries per shift. Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM as in-house call, covering patients at 35 weeks and up, and include ER coverage exclusively for the clinic’s established patients. You will also have the opportunity for some surgical assist to maintain your GYN skills, alongside daytime collaboration with nurse triage and strong peer-to-peer support.

Required qualifications for this role include:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Active DEA registration or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- 2+ years of experience
- Comfortable managing laboring patients with 1 prior C-section and twin pregnancies
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500, with total cash compensation including base pay and bonuses based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience.
