Optum is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Laborist Physician to join an established, well-respected team of seven OB/GYNs in Corvallis, Oregon. As part of The Corvallis Clinic, you will be joining a leading multi-specialty group with a history of delivering exceptional patient care and fostering fulfilling careers throughout the mid-Willamette Valley.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for six 24-hour shifts a month for a 1.0 FTE schedule, though part-time or per diem arrangements will also be considered. Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM as in-house call, focusing primarily on weekdays with a shared holiday rotation, averaging one to two deliveries per shift for patients at 35 weeks and up. Additional responsibilities include daytime collaboration with nurse triage, ER coverage strictly for the clinic’s established patients, and optional surgical assisting to help maintain your GYN skills. A call room with easy access to the clinic is provided.
Required qualifications for this position include an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and two or plus years of experience. Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License and an active DEA license, or have the ability to obtain them prior to employment. You should also feel comfortable managing laboring patients with one prior C-section and twin pregnancies.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500, with total cash compensation including base pay and bonuses based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, productivity, and performance.
