WAVELENGTH is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar for a locum opportunity at Armidale Hospital, servicing the Saumarez Ponds and Uralla Area. This is a targeted short-term placement requiring availability for specific shifts in July 2026.
The scheduled shift times and on-call requirements are as follows:
- Tuesday, 14 July 2026: 07:30 – 16:00 (On-Call)
- Wednesday, 15 July 2026: 07:30 – 16:00
- Thursday, 16 July 2026: 07:30 – 16:00 (On-Call)
- Friday, 17 July 2026: 07:30 – 16:00
Please note that completion of SDPR training is strictly required prior to commencing these shifts. Locums must be fully committed to completing the mandatory 6 to 10 hours of required training before their first shift. Doctors will be paid for the time spent completing this necessary preparation.
To support your placement, logistical arrangements include accommodation capped at $160 per night, alongside travel reimbursement of up to $800, which is applicable for flights or mileage only.
