We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals for our Occupational Therapist – Mid Year 2026 Graduate Program. Based in Broadmeadow within the Newcastle area, this is a full-time opportunity designed to kickstart your professional career in a supportive and impactful environment.
As part of our graduate program, you will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. Typical responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting functional assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for NDIS participants
- Assisting participants to improve their daily living skills, independence, and overall quality of life
- Recommending appropriate assistive technology, equipment, and home modifications
- Collaborating closely with allied health professionals, support coordinators, and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes, reports, and documentation in line with organizational and industry standards
- Participating in ongoing professional development, training, and structured mentoring provided throughout the graduate program
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for registration with Ahpra. You will possess a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to appointments in the Broadmeadow and broader Newcastle area are essential.
