Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand Surgery to join our dynamic and growing clinical team in Highland, San Bernardino County. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice within a collegial, faith-based academic healthcare environment that places a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, teaching, and professional mentorship.
As a member of our department, you will become part of a busy, high-volume practice currently comprised of 16 orthopedic surgeons and 4 physician assistants. The role involves comprehensive patient care, surgical intervention, and active participation in the academic mission of the institution, including the training and mentoring of orthopedic surgery residents.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing expert clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical and non-surgical treatment for patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including fellow orthopedic specialists, physician assistants, and support staff.
- Participating in the education and supervision of residents and medical students through clinical instruction and hands-on surgical training.
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Contributing to the overall growth, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative culture of the orthopedic department.
Compensation details for this full-time position include an established annual salary of $170,476.
