CC Medical is currently seeking an Orthopaedics Surgery Registrar for an upcoming locum opportunity located in Victoria, Australia. This temporary position spans from 18 September until 11 October, making it an ideal short-term engagement for medical professionals looking to utilise their specialised skills in a dynamic hospital environment.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the orthopaedic surgery team, contributing to patient care and surgical support. The roster consists of a mix of standard day shifts alongside required on-call duties. To support your placement during these dates, accommodation will be provided.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assisting consultant orthopaedic surgeons in theatre and managing pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Participating in ward rounds, reviewing patient progress, and documenting clinical notes accurately.
- Responding to referrals and providing timely orthopaedic consultations within the facility.
- Participating in the on-call roster as required by the department to ensure continuous patient care.
- Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, and their families.
