The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at the Tucson VA Medical Center, located in the stunning desert landscape of Casas Adobes, Pima County. In this role, you will apply your specialized surgical expertise to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries for our Veteran population. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including fellow physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated treatment plans. Daily responsibilities typically involve conducting patient consultations, performing complex surgical procedures, managing postoperative care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in accordance with VA standards.

We are looking for a qualified medical professional who possesses the necessary medical degrees, state licensure, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery, and the commitment to uphold our high standards of patient care. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for serving our nation’s Veterans.

This is a permanent position offering a structured compensation package with a salary of $129,648 per year.
