At Outcomes First Group, we believe in creating a better work-life balance while delivering exceptional education and support to our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated Outdoor Education and PE Instructor to join our team at Underley Garden School, located near Warton and Carnforth.
In this permanent, term-time-only role, you will play a key part in inspiring our students through engaging physical education and outdoor learning activities. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for the outdoors and believes that some of the best learning experiences happen outside the traditional classroom environment. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a scheduled start in September 2026.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Designing and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
- Facilitating safe and enriching outdoor education activities and adventures.
- Encouraging student participation, confidence, and physical development.
- Assessing student progress and adapting lesson plans to ensure inclusive participation.
- Maintaining a safe learning environment during all practical and outdoor sessions.
- Collaborating with fellow educators and support staff to support overall student wellbeing.
The salary for this permanent position is up to £32,000 per annum, determined by experience and not calculated on a pro-rata basis. Additionally, a travel allowance is included as part of the compensation package. Please note that applicants must hold the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
