Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outdoor Education and PE Instructor to join the team at Underley Garden School. This is a permanent, term-time-only position working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. The role offers a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, determined by experience, along with a travel allowance. Please note that this opportunity is for UK applicants only as no visa sponsorship is available.
In this role, you will champion the belief that the best learning often happens beyond the traditional classroom. You will design and deliver engaging physical education and outdoor learning experiences tailored to inspire and support students. Your daily responsibilities will naturally involve planning and leading inclusive outdoor activities, managing health and safety protocols during adventurous tasks, and encouraging student participation and personal development through sport and nature.
We are looking for a professional who is passionate about outdoor education and physical education, capable of creating a positive and safe learning environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, an ability to motivate young people, and a commitment to fostering a healthy work-life balance for both staff and students. Relevant background experience in teaching, instruction, or youth work within an educational setting is essential.
