As a Sales Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service and helping pet parents find the right products for their animals. Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing helpful, expert advice on pet care, nutrition, and accessories.
- Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling transactions accurately, and managing customer inquiries.
- Assisting with merchandising, stock replenishment, pricing, and maintaining clean, safe store displays.
- Receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and helping to keep the warehouse and shop floor organized.
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and ensure a welcoming environment for both customers and pets.
