The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based primarily out of our Geelong office in Victoria, Australia, this mid-level role also offers flexible hybrid working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing for our workforce. As part of an organization dedicated to making a real difference, you will support internal stakeholders by applying your expertise in payroll administration, compliance, and systems.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Processing end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with relevant enterprise agreements, awards, and legislative requirements
- Investigating and resolving payroll-related queries from employees and managers promptly
- Reconciling payroll data, preparing standard reports, and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with the broader human resources and finance teams to streamline payroll processes
We are looking for a candidate who brings solid experience in a similar payroll function, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Familiarity with modern payroll software and standard office applications is essential.
