UPMC Southwestern PA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinology physician for an exciting opportunity based in Monroeville, Allegheny County, featuring an academic appointment with UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities as part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
The annual salary for this position is fixed at $131,543. H1B visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical care for pediatric patients with endocrine disorders.
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary academic healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participating in clinical duties, teaching, and academic activities associated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Possess an MD degree or equivalent.
- Be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Hold the ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
