UPMC Central PA is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing pediatric service line in the West End area of Dauphin County. This opportunity involves expanding clinical services within the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, in collaboration with University of Pittsburgh Physicians, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, to serve patients and families throughout the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania region.
In this role, you will provide specialized medical care to pediatric patients experiencing gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, performing diagnostic procedures appropriate to the specialty, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, pediatric subspecialists, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient outcomes.
To qualify for consideration, candidates must meet the following professional requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Fellowship training program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in pediatric gastroenterology
