Percolated is seeking a dedicated and passionate Barista to join our growing independent specialty coffee business in the Northern Territory, Australia. This is a full-time position offering 38 hours per week, working closely with our owner and director to deliver outstanding service and exceptional coffee to our loyal community.
In this role, you will be an essential part of the Percolated team, helping us transition from our successful coffee van operations into our new café space. You will take pride in every cup you pour, ensuring consistent quality, maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace, and creating meaningful, friendly connections with every customer who walks up to the counter.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Preparing and serving a wide range of espresso-based coffee drinks and specialty beverages to a high standard.
- Operating and maintaining coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and POS systems efficiently.
- Providing warm, attentive customer service and handling orders with a positive attitude.
- Assisting with daily café or mobile operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and maintaining health and safety standards.
- Contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment that values genuine hospitality.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of A$78,000 to A$88,000 per year plus superannuation.
