Optum is seeking a dedicated and qualified Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV, providing comprehensive ambulatory care to patients and contributing to our mission of creating a more effective health care system for everyone. In this role, you will deliver exceptional primary and preventative medical care to individuals and families within an ambulatory setting. Your primary duties will center on supporting patient health and well-being through clinical excellence and compassionate service.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Conducting thorough patient examinations and evaluations
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests
- Developing individualized and effective treatment plans for patients
- Promoting overall wellness, preventive care, and health education
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, along with a valid MD or DO degree and the necessary licensing and credentials to practice family medicine.
