Banner Health is seeking a dedicated and qualified Neurology Headache Medicine Physician to join our growing faculty team in Cortaro, Pima County. In collaboration with Banner – University Medicine Tucson and the Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, this position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality care for patients.
As a valued member of our clinical team, your primary responsibilities will involve diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of headache disorders and neurological conditions. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, participate in clinical care delivery, and contribute to the academic and clinical mission of our institution.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing expert clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for patients suffering from headache and related neurological disorders.
- Collaborating with fellow physicians, residents, fellows, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Participating in clinical documentation and maintaining accurate patient health records in accordance with institutional standards.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in neurology and headache medicine.
Qualifications and requirements for this position:
- Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist.
- Must possess specialized subspecialty training or relevant clinical experience in Headache Medicine.
- Eligibility to obtain a medical license in the state of Arizona along with appropriate DEA registration.
