As an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist, your focus will be on comprehensive women’s health, encompassing both general gynecological medical care and specialized care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system. You will be concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems, with a particular focus on ailments specific to the female anatomy, including breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.

Key responsibilities and clinical focus areas for this role include:

  • Providing complete obstetrical prenatal care, including treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy, from prenatal diagnoses to postpartum care.
  • Conducting family planning and well-woman exams.
  • Administering vaccinations and screenings, including gynecological cancer and breast cancer screenings.
  • Treating menstrual disorders, general gynecological problems, and managing menopause.
  • Performing in-office procedures aligned with your skill level that are common to the practice, relating to gynecological conditions, needs, and contraception.
  • Working closely and collaboratively within a shared practice model.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Must have completed residency and be currently practicing, or be in residency at the time of application.
  • Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency, or fellowship program upon hire.
  • Licensed in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.

The annual salary range for this full-time role is $278,500 to $484,500, representing total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus are variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is determined by several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Eligible employees may also receive comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
