Ramsay Health Care is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Physiotherapy Inpatient Team Lead to join the dynamic and friendly physiotherapy team at Springfield Hospital. Located near Mountnessing in Brentwood, Springfield Hospital is one of Essex’s leading private healthcare facilities. Established in 1987, the hospital features 64 en-suite rooms, a 14-bed day unit, and a high dependency unit, providing high-quality care to patients in the region.
This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary of £43,383. As a team leader, you will play a vital role in coordinating inpatient physiotherapy services, supporting clinical excellence, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients recovering from various medical and surgical procedures.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the inpatient physiotherapy team
- Delivering high-standard, evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for inpatients
- Collaborating closely with nursing, medical, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care pathways
- Mentoring, supporting, and guiding junior staff members and students within the department
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant health, safety, and hospital compliance standards
