Ramsay Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapy Inpatient Team Lead to join the dynamic and friendly physiotherapy team at Springfield Hospital, located near Nine Ashes in Ingatestone and Chelmsford. This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary of £44,301.
Springfield Hospital is one of Essex’s leading private hospitals, originally opened in 1987. The facility features 64 en-suite inpatient beds, a 14-bed day unit, and a high dependency unit, providing a supportive and professional environment for both patients and staff members.
As the Physiotherapy Inpatient Team Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high standards of inpatient physiotherapy care. Your daily responsibilities will naturally involve assessing patient needs, developing tailored treatment plans, supporting recovery journeys, and guiding team members within the department to ensure excellence in clinical practice.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a varied caseload of inpatient physiotherapy patients.
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting the inpatient physiotherapy team to maintain high standards of clinical care.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, consultants, and support staff, to ensure holistic patient pathways.
- Managing departmental resources efficiently and participating in service development initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional codes of conduct and hospital policies.
To be successful in this position, you should be a qualified physiotherapist with relevant professional registration and significant experience working within an inpatient or acute hospital setting. Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care are essential for this role.
