Join BAE Systems and you will be part of something bigger, contributing to important projects as a Pipefitter based at Port Riddell in Dunoon. In this hands-on role, you will apply your technical expertise to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve reading and interpreting blueprints, cutting and threading pipes, and ensuring all installations meet rigorous quality controls. You will work closely with other members of the engineering and production teams to ensure project timelines and safety guidelines are consistently met.
To be considered for this position, applicants must be able to provide proof of a completed Modern Apprenticeship or relevant trade papers upon submitting their application. A strong commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential for this role.
