Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner – Telehealth & Community
CARED · Australia
About this job
CARED is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner for a mid-level role delivered via telehealth and within the community across Australia. This opportunity offers high hourly rates and the flexibility to choose your own hours, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments while making a meaningful impact.
In this role, you will work directly with individuals, families, and support networks to assess, develop, and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support strategies. Your day-to-day work will focus on understanding participants’ needs, reducing restrictive practices, and promoting skill development and enhanced quality of life. You will have the choice of operating through telehealth platforms, conducting face-to-face community visits, or a blend of both, depending on your preferences and participant requirements.
To thrive in this position, you should bring relevant professional experience in behaviour support, psychology, social work, or a related allied health field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and manage your schedule effectively. A passion for person-centred care and upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with diverse needs is at the heart of what CARED looks for in team members.
CARED is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where you can bring your authentic self to work and do your life’s best work. If you are an independent, motivated practitioner looking for flexibility and competitive remuneration, we invite you to apply and join our growing network today.
