Optum is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our clinician-led care organization. In this outpatient role, your primary responsibilities will include managing patient care, conducting consults and follow-up appointments, performing well-checks, and scheduling routine screenings. You will work standard outpatient hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call and no weekends. The daily patient census averages 18 to 20 patients, with scheduled appointment times allowing for thorough care.
Key responsibilities and position highlights include:
- Managing comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinical setting
- Providing comfortable care to patients of all ages, with a primary focus on an adult and senior patient base
- Collaborating with dedicated support staff, including nurses and medical assistants
- Contributing new practice ideas and initiatives to improve community health outcomes
Required qualifications for this position:
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Current California DEA certificate
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

The annual salary range for this full-time role is $229,500 to $378,000, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
