Primary Care Physician Optum – Albuquerque, NM

Optum is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our clinician-led care organization. As part of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will play an integral role in our vision to make healthcare better for everyone, helping patients live healthier lives with the backing of robust clinical resources, data, and global organizational support.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Providing compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health
• Demonstrating professionalism through a strong commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities
• Adhering to high ethical principles in all clinical practices
• Maintaining sensitivity and responsiveness to a diverse patient population

Required qualifications for candidates include:

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Medical Licensure in the State of New Mexico, or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• DEA license, or the ability to obtain prior to employment
