As a part of Optum, the largest network of medical groups in the country, Optum California is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Primary Care Physician to join our team. In this role, you will embrace a quality-versus-quantity care model, typically seeing around 18 to 20 patients per day with scheduled weekly administrative time. Patient visits are structured thoughtfully, with designated time for new and follow-up patients. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers and rely on dedicated support staff, allowing you to focus on practicing at the full scope of your license. This is an outpatient-only position with no required call or urgent care shifts, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekends.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a managed care setting is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Compensation and benefits highlights include a guaranteed base salary plus an annual bonus structure based on quality and performance metrics. The salary range for California residents is $237,361 to $331,688 (total cash compensation at target, variable based on experience and metric achievement).
