BAE Systems is seeking a Product Owner for Supply Chain within the Edgewing project. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a major player in the aerospace and defence sector, contributing to critical supply chain operations and product delivery.
In this role, you will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, taking ownership of the product backlog and ensuring that supply chain solutions align with strategic objectives. You will manage priorities, define clear requirements, and guide the development process to deliver value efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Defining and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, supply chain needs, and project goals.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and user stories.
- Monitoring project progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring deliverables meet high standards of quality.
- Participating in agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, and review sessions.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain product lifecycle.
Location details and work arrangements:
- The role is based in the Reading area, with contracting potential across BAE Systems Air sites, preferably Frimley.
- Upon commencement, you will be immediately assigned to the Edgewing Joint Venture in the Reading area.
- A financial support package may be available to facilitate this assignment, subject to meeting specific criteria.
- A hybrid working policy is currently in place, with flexible options available to discuss with your recruiter.
