BAE Systems is currently seeking a dedicated Product Owner for our Supply Chain (Edgewing) team. This opportunity offers a competitive and fixed salary of £46,797 per year. The role is associated with the Reading area, and while it could potentially be contracted to any BAE Systems Air site (with Frimley preferred), the position will immediately upon commencement be assigned to our Edgewing Joint Venture in the Reading area.
As a Product Owner within our supply chain operations, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects, managing product backlogs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes within a dynamic engineering and defense environment.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Owning and managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and strategic goals.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and development teams to ensure clear alignment on project requirements and delivery timelines.
- Facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain product lifecycle.
- Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring that delivered solutions meet quality standards and operational needs.
