ITAL Food Group is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and supplier of biscuits and cakes, servicing retail, wholesale, private label, and export markets. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in Campbellfield, located within the Hume area.
In this vital leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The position offers a competitive salary range of A$80,000 to A$90,000 per year, commensurate with your industry experience.
Key responsibilities for the Production Manager include:
- Determining, implementing, and monitoring production strategies, policies, and production plans specifically for biscuit manufacturing operations.
- Planning, organising, directing, and coordinating production activities to meet output targets and delivery schedules.
- Managing and mentoring the manufacturing team to foster a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
- Collaborating with other department heads to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and maintain high standards of product quality.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and industry regulations across all production floors.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in manufacturing management, preferably within the food and beverage sector or a similar fast-paced production environment. You will possess excellent organizational and leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful production plans.
