The University of Newcastle is currently seeking a dedicated Project and Engagement Officer for a full-time position to support the vital work of the Institute for Regional Futures (IRF).
In this role, you will be challenged and inspired to imagine with us as you help coordinate stakeholder engagement, project activities, and communications. You will work collaboratively across teams to ensure initiatives run smoothly and achieve their intended outcomes within the community and academic sectors.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Coordinating the day-to-day delivery of applied research and engagement projects for the Institute for Regional Futures.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and community members.
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure milestones are met on time.
- Preparing communication materials, reports, and documentation to support project outcomes and stakeholder updates.
- Supporting the broader team with general project coordination and engagement activities as required.
