The Lorian Group is currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in Queensland, Australia. Offering a competitive salary range of A$120,000 to A$160,000 per year, this opportunity features a FIFO arrangement available from anywhere along the East Coast to Queensland.
You will be joining a leading specialist civil contractor backed by a strong pipeline of work, focused on delivering some of Queensland’s most technically challenging ground engineering projects. In this hands-on position, you will take ownership of projects right from the initial planning stages through to final delivery, collaborating closely with an experienced construction team.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Managing day-to-day engineering operations and project workflows on-site.
- Ensuring all construction and technical activities align with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Liaising with site teams, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project execution.
- Assisting with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
- Identifying and mitigating technical or operational risks as they arise during delivery.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Proven Australian industry experience in directly delivering slope stabilisation projects.
- A strong background in civil or geotechnical engineering.
- The ability to work effectively in a FIFO capacity based on the required roster.
- A hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of project quality and safety.
