Growthbuilt is seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis, located in the Long Jetty and Wyong Area of the NSW Central Coast.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our delivery team partnering with Uniting on the significant staged redevelopment of the Nareen Gardens precinct at Bateau Bay. This major seniors living project involves creating a modern, integrated community featuring independent living units, residential aged care, and shared community facilities across two major stages. As Stage 1 commences, your day-to-day involvement will encompass supporting the execution of demolition works and the subsequent construction phases.
Your responsibilities will typically align with standard project engineering duties within the commercial construction sector, supporting site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key activities generally include:
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of site activities.
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement processes.
- Reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality assurance protocols.
- Preparing reports, processing variations, and assisting with project administration and cost control.
