We are currently hiring for the position of Ranger in Manheim, Pennsylvania. As a Campground Ranger, your daily responsibilities will include walking and patrolling the grounds to answer guest questions, enforce rules, and ensure the safety of our visitors and their belongings. You will handle stressful situations calmly and react appropriately in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. Your primary duties will encompass:

• Monitoring the property to identify any issues or potential problems and ensuring the resort is properly secured.
• Ensuring guests comply with resort rules, responding to areas of concern, and contacting law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitoring incoming guests through the campground gate to validate access.
• Performing routine patrols, along with golf cart and rental inspections.
• Taking camping reservations, checking people in and out, and selling day passes and store items.
• Prioritizing guest safety and happiness while performing on-call emergency service as required.

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, along with the ability to use computer applications.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, assess situations quickly, and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.
• Experience working in security, law enforcement, or an RV environment is considered a beneficial asset.
• A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
