In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. You will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities and duties for this position include:
- Delivering comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care within the Emergency Department setting.
- Assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and monitoring patient responses in high-acuity situations.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, specialists, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate optimal patient care pathways.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by direct care team members and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Upholding patient rights, ensuring strict confidentiality, and adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Demonstrating professional accountability and clear communication during shift handoffs and patient evaluations.
