Registered Nurse

PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team for the night shift at our Downey location, situated at 11500 Brookshire Ave, Downey, CA 90241 (Zip Code: 90241). In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, including patient assessment, developing and implementing plans of care, providing patient and family education, and evaluating outcomes for your assigned patients.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will perform necessary duties to maintain a smooth flow of patient care while coordinating the delivery of services provided by other care team members and disciplines. • Performing thorough patient assessments and executing clinical education related to your specialty
• Applying strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Demonstrating basic computer proficiency and leadership abilities
• Utilizing effective principles of patient and family teaching to support recovery and wellness

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Current California RN license
• Evidence of continuing education
• Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) cards

This night shift position offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $50.50 to $84.25, plus a shift differential of $7.00.
