St. David’s Surgical Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Inpatient Rehab unit located in McNeil, Travis County. This position offers an annual salary of $73,925.

The ideal candidate will fulfill the important responsibilities of the St. David’s HealthCare Registered Nurse (SDHRN) position, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients recovering from various conditions, injuries, or surgeries within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care interventions to promote optimal recovery, mobility, and independence.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed while closely observing for adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Educating patients and their families on self-care techniques, adaptive equipment, and post-discharge expectations to ensure a smooth transition home.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Advocating for patient needs and actively participating in unit-based quality improvement and shared governance initiatives.
