Mission Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg Trauma Spine unit located in Laurel Park, Henderson County. This is a part-time opportunity offering an annual salary of $114,844.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from trauma and spinal surgeries. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and educate patients and their families throughout the recovery process.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this nursing position include:
- Assessing, planning, and evaluating direct nursing care for medical-surgical, trauma, and spine patients
- Administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately
- Monitoring patient responses to treatments and reporting any significant changes in condition to the medical team
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records
- Providing compassionate emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Adhering strictly to hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols
This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment to Mission Health, applicable to new hires or former employees who have been separated from Mission for at least 6 months. Additionally, a relocation bonus is available for eligible candidates who qualify.
