As a Registered Nurse in the Mercy Joplin Operating Room, your primary duties will include utilizing the complete nursing process to assess, plan, and provide direct patient care. You will maintain professional accountability for the well-being of assigned patients before, during, and after surgical procedures while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.
Key responsibilities and expectations for this position include:
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, individualized patient care within the operating room environment.
- Evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers on the surgical team.
- Coordinating patient care seamlessly in conjunction with other hospital departments and surgical staff.
- Maintaining strict adherence to patient rights, safety protocols, and the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Performing all duties and responsibilities in a manner entirely consistent with the mission, values, and standards of Mercy.
This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of $67,518.
