Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Trauma ICU team at Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, Kansas. This is a Night Shift, PRN position offering an annual salary of $75,897, designed for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-acuity patient care in a supportive and mission-driven healthcare environment.
In this specialized role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, specialized nursing care to patients with severe neurological and traumatic injuries. Your daily responsibilities will naturally involve continuous patient monitoring, administering complex medications, operating specialized ICU equipment, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams, and educating patients and their families throughout the critical care and recovery process.

- Delivering expert direct nursing care to patients in the Neuro Trauma ICU
- Monitoring complex physiological parameters and responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhering strictly to hospital safety protocols, infection control standards, and nursing best practices
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications as required for critical care environments
