This position is situated within our 4W Acute Care Trauma unit, offering a dynamic environment where your nursing expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and support our organizational mission to enhance the health and well-being of every person we serve.
In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring acute and trauma-related medical attention. Please note that this position is designated for the night shift, requiring flexibility and a commitment to maintaining rigorous standards of care during overnight hours.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for acute care and trauma patients.
- Monitoring patient vital signs, managing medications, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure coordinated treatment plans.
- Educating patients and their families regarding post-treatment care, recovery expectations, and health management.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic health records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
