Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will help provide a comforting and healing environment for our community, offering top-notch care backed by advanced medical technology and a patient-centered approach.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care within the ICU on a per-shift basis. Your daily duties will include assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive care plans for assigned patients, supervising support staff to whom appropriate tasks are delegated, and ensuring safe, high-quality clinical outcomes. You will also utilize your strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a role model and patient advocate, supporting leadership in maintaining clinical competency and effective resource management.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Graduation from a state-approved or accredited school of nursing (academic degree in nursing, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree, is preferred).
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice professional nursing in the state of Massachusetts, as required by law and policy.
- Current CPR certification.
We are pleased to offer an eligible sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 for qualifying candidates. Please note that the onboarding process requires candidates to successfully complete a background check and a pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen.
