Bank of America is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Relationship Banker to join our team at the South Natomas location. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging clients in the lobby, educating them on digital tools, and guiding them through self-service resources such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs. You will initiate meaningful conversations to understand each client’s financial and life priorities, connect them with appropriate banking solutions, and accurately process cash transactions as needed. This 40-hour, 1st shift position offers a pay range of $25.00 to $27.88 per hour, with final offers determined based on your experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary and is currently benefits eligible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging clients in the lobby and assisting with self-service resources, mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs
- Accurately and efficiently processing cash transactions while managing cash responsibilities
- Having deep conversations with clients to uncover financial goals and life priorities
- Connecting clients to solutions that meet their financial needs and partnering with internal experts in small business, lending, and investments
- Managing financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively
- Executing the bank’s risk culture, striving for operational excellence, and following established processes and guidelines in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Required qualifications and skills include:
- High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent minimum education requirement
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic and focus on results
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage all clients confidently
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and time-management skills
- Willingness and flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as business needs require
- Preferred qualifications include experience in financial services, one year of sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment, six months of cash handling experience, a relevant college degree, and Spanish language proficiency
