We are currently seeking a dedicated Relationship Banker to join our team at the Upper Marlboro Financial Center located at 14601 Church St, Upper Marlboro, MD.
In this role, you will be responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist with conducting transactions through self-service resources, such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs. Key responsibilities include accurately and efficiently processing cash transactions, having deep conversations with clients to understand their financial and life priorities, and connecting them with solutions that meet their financial goals. You will also manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls while upholding our risk culture and operational excellence.
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent (Bachelor’s or business-relevant Associate’s Degree preferred).
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, intense focus on results, and a commitment to acting in the clients’ best interests.
- Strong collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort and confidence in educating clients on self-service banking technologies and identifying appropriate financial solutions.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new information and technology platforms.
- Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours, and to travel to any financial center location within a reasonable distance.
- Prior experience in financial services, cash handling, or a salary-plus-incentive sales environment is a plus.
This is a 1st shift, full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week. The pay range for this hourly role is $25.00 to $27.88, with final offers determined based on experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary, is not incentive-eligible, and is currently benefits-eligible, offering industry-leading benefits, access to paid time off, and supportive resources to help you thrive.
