Amazon TA is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to join the team in Charing Cross, Central London. With an annual salary of £44,441, this role offers an exciting opportunity to become a fundamental part of operations by ensuring vital machinery continues to run smoothly and efficiently at all times.
As an RME Technician within the AMZL network, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while strictly upholding Health and Safety best practices. Your daily efforts will directly contribute to keeping your colleagues safe, preventing unexpected machine downtime, and enhancing the overall operational environment. You will play a crucial role in boosting both the availability and the quality of the facility’s equipment.
Typical responsibilities for this role include:
- Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on a variety of operational equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing technical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
- Adhering strictly to company Health and Safety policies and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborating with operational teams to identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and workplace efficiency.
- Documenting maintenance activities and tracking parts usage accurately using internal systems.
